This museum, housed in the 17C Hôtel de Gaiffier d'Hestroy mansion, displays works of art made in the Namur area from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The extensive gold and silverware collection has Mosan-style pyxes and reliquaries. Outstanding paintings on wood include the Gothic-style Annunciation and Visitation from c 1400. There are also fine stone and wood carvings, glass items and a few stained-glass windows.
