The collections of the Deutsches Museum relating to land transport (bicycles, cars, railway) occupy three of Munich's trade fair halls dating from 1908 and entirely restored. Hall III focuses on mobility and techniques, Hall II looks at the theme of travel, while Hall I charts the history of urban traffic. Among the highlights of the visit: a steam locomotive from 1814 and a ride in a horse-drawn carriage... Children love it!
