This park, with its lawns, fountains and lake, was built in the late 18C. It is particularly busy in summer, near to the Chinese tower, where there is an open-air tavern with no less than 7,000 seats. From the Monopteros, a round temple built on a hillside by Klenze, the neo-classical architect, you can get a wonderful view over the belltowers of the old town.
