In the 1960s, John Wehle saved 68 regional buildings, dating from 1797 to 1884, from demolition. He had them moved to a vast estate in the form of a village. The site also boasts a museum and hiking trails. Here you have the Genesee Country Village and Museum, which take you on a wonderful journey back in time. Go inside the "working" period buildings (farmhouse, middle-class home, pharmacy, printing office, bakery etc) and observe the craftspeople at work.
