This green wall was installed in 2011 by Patrick Blanc, who created the concept in 1986 with his first project at the Cité des Sciences in Paris. The tropical species used cling to a synthetic felt surface, allowing them to develop their roots. Next to the Vertical Garden, the Green Corner, designed by the Anne Holtrop studio, is made up of concrete blocks moulded directly onto the ground during construction, giving it an irregular, mineral appearance. The building serves as an archive for the Shaikh Ebrahim Foundation.
