This magnificent and beautifully arranged museum charts the long history of the cathedral through the works of art in its treasure, dating from the 6C to the present day. The most precious pieces are those given to the church by Queen Theodelinda and her husband Agilulf when the building was founded in the 7C, and those gifted by King Berengar in the early 10C. The beautiful gold objects dating from the 6C-9C are particularly striking, plus there are some fine pieces from the Middle Ages.
