This 16C cathedral is home to a series of giltwood retables. In the right arm of the transept, you will notice in a showcase an amusing statuette of the baby Jesus with a top hat. It attracts all the attentions of Miranda's inhabitants, who have donated a large wardrobe to it. Its feast day is Kings' day and four children carry it during the procession. From the cathedral, there is an attractive view over the Douro.
