La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The basilica dates back to the 5C-6C, although its current appearance is a mix of different periods. Admire the remarkable polyptych of the Passion (14C) as well as its superb chapels, including the Cappella dei Magi with the sarcophagus that is said to have held the relics of the Three Wise Men, and especially the Cappella Portinari, a gem of the Lombard Renaissance. The latter was built in 1460 to house a funerary monument to the glory of St Peter of Verona.
