La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The Court of Rameses II, the colonnade and the Court of Amenhotep III illustrate superbly the history of this temple dedicated to the god Amun. The Temple of Luxor, which is linked to the Temple of Karnak via the Avenue of Sphinxes, was the starting point for processions of sacred barks loaded with offerings which were held once a year during the Festival of Opet. Note the chamber of the birth of Amenhotep III in the pronaos where the King's mother ritually married Amun-Re.
