La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The terraces and gardens of the Fronteira Palace form an enchanted labyrinth. There is not a section of wall, not a bench, not a basin that isn't covered with azulejos, down to the grottoes inlaid with shells and Chinese porcelains. These glazed ceramic tiles depict rustic scenes: seasons and work in the fields, grandiose and solemn scenes, naive divinities or zodiac figures and a surprising bestiary full of humour, where monkeys are teaching music to awkward cats.
