A visit to Iglesia de Santo Domingo (16C), little visited as yet, is well worth the detour for its two cloisters, unchanged since the 17C. The azulejos and elegance of the first cloister are delightful, while the second cloister with its fountain and greenery is an ideal spot to rest your feet as you savour the timeless quality of this spot. On the way back, climb up the 46m-high steeple to take in the fantastic view.
