Laid out around cloisters, the museum has expanded to display documents and objects charting the history of the diocese. In the former refectory, Romanesque and Gothic murals from churches around the region are on display. Another room is dedicated to the extraordinary frescoes from the church in Bagüés, the largest collection of Romanesque paintings in Spain. The visit also includes rooms devoted to the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods.
