On Ios there are many magnificent beaches. Platys Gialos is a crescent of sand west of Hora's keyside; Milopotas is the kingdom of water sports... and attention-seekers. East of Pano Kampos, Agia Theodoti turns out to be fairly empty. But the enchantment is to be found to the south of the island, where beaches lie in the bay of Manganari, with deep, clear waters.
