Floating over the hulk of a sunken battleship, the concave, 184-foot white-concrete bridge marks the permanent tomb of 1,177 sailors killed in the Pearl Harbor attack. Each victim's name is inscribed in white marble on one wall. The macabre outline of the ship's hull is visible below. Launches depart from a shoreline visitor center, where historical exhibits and a 25-minute documentary film are presented.
