Most of the edifice dates back to the late 13C. The varied interior depicts both the feudal era (kitchen, guardroom) and the 18C. The highlight of the collection in the Salle de Bourgogne is made up of three mourning capes of the Order of the Golden Fleece (1476). All over the castle, you will see the crane, an element of the coat of arms of the Counts of Gruyères.
