La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The Grotte des Demoiselles is a crevice in the Plateau of Thaurac that dominates the Hérault Valley. A funicular takes visitors to the sinkhole, which is striking in the number and size of its concretions. A series of narrow corridors leads to a vast chamber 120m long, 80m wide and 50m high, and to the legendary stalagmite resembling a Virgin and Child. Turn back at this point to take in the impressive set of "organ pipes", before continuing the tour past fine draperies of calcite.
