La opinión de la Guía Michelin
Nestling in a scenic site at the foot of the Rockies, this park has recreated a typical regional mining community in the late 19C and is dominated by a huge wooden wheel that pumped water out of the mining galleries and shafts. It is well worth looking at the excellent displays devoted to local history in the visitor centre and visiting the regional museum in the former hotel. The Mounted Police barracks are open to the public, as is the only original building on the site, with exhibits dedicated to the regiment.
