Accessible by cable car, the upper resort (alt. 2,869 m) commands a splendid panorama with the Aletsch glacier in the foreground and that of the Fiesh glacier to the right. You can climb across one of the three rock slides near the resort, including the Eggishorn, with a cross on top, for an even better view.
