Ropotamo National Park is depicted by a lake inhabited by swans, flocks of white birds and, in the background, the Strandža mountains. A series of signposted discovery trails enable visitors to observe wildlife (deer, red foxes, otters, as well as amphibians and reptiles), together with migrating birds and several rare plant species, among which the sand lily. It is also possible to explore the reserve on a boat trip down the Ropotamo river.
