This 19C building, which is intersected by an immense metal pyramid, houses the largest military museum in Germany. Renovated by star architect Daniel Libeskind, whose other work includes the Jewish Museum in Berlin, it reopened its doors in autumn 2011. The exhibits, laid out over four floors, trace the evolutions in technology from the 14C to the present day. There are also original exhibitions on themes such as the "Animals in the Military", and "War and Games".
