Dieppe's busiest square, where six streets meet, takes its name from a saltwater well, replaced by a fountain in the 16C (the present well is false). The square is dominated by the large white pediment of the Café des Tribunaux, the former Horloge cabaret dating from the early 18C. A confectioner's shop occupies the former Admiralty buildings.
