Established in the heart of the former Dieppe fishermen's district, Estran-Cité de la Mer focuses on a scientific approach to the sea and fishing. The section devoted to shipyards features a rowing boat, the model of a trawler and the chance to take the helm in the captain's cabin. The fishing section reviews the evolution of fishing techniques, from coastal fishing to industrial fishing. On weekdays, the fish in the aquariums are fed (with commentary) at 10.30am.
