Nestled in Missouri's rolling farm country, this living-history village focuses on the limestone home of pioneer hero Daniel Boone, completed here in 1810. Boone spent his old age in the house and died in his second-story bedroom in 1820. Of note on the grounds is the lovely 1838 Old Peace Chapela.
