In the heart of beautiful forests, Dabo is a popular summer resort. The sandstone rock, Rocher de Dabo, is elegantly perched at 647m. This natural site, formed more than 200 million years ago, is crowned by a chapel dating from the 19C. You can climb into the tower and, after 92 steps, take in the lovely panoramic view. The main peaks of the sandstone Vosges are revealed: Spillberg, Geisfels, Schneeberg, Grossmann, Donon etc. From this height, the village of Dabo has the shape of an X.
