The layout of this superb museum, in the former Church of San Pablo, was entirely designed by Gustavo Torner, one of the artists who founded the "Cuenca Group". The geometric abstraction of his work is beautifully suited to the church's Gothic elegance, resulting in a structure of great aesthetic coherence. Torner's influences are visible in his tributes to Cranach, Quevedo, Duchamp, Brancusi and Bergman.
