La opinión de la Guía Michelin
The source of the Restonica rises at an altitude of 1 711m in the Rotondo massif, one of the island's highest. After a turbulent 15km-course through lovely deep gorges forming natural swimming pools, it meets up with the Tavignano in the "Sillon de Corte" at an altitude of 400m. Its canyon notably cuts through the Restonica Forest, planted with oak and laricio pines. It makes an ideal starting point for ramblers heading for the lakes of Capitello and Melo.
