Anna Safley Houston (1876-1951) spent her later years as an antiques dealer in Chattanooga amassing stunning American glassware, from Tiffany and Steuben to early Amberina. Her collection, which includes rare Mettlach beer steins and 19C English and American pewter, is crammed into a Victorian house a half-block from the Hunter Museum.
