The former weapons factory has been enjoying a new lease of life since 1990. The restored buildings are home to the Car, Motorcycle and Bicycle Museum, the National Circus School, the Regional dance and music academy, a skating rink, and of late, contemporary art exhibitions held in the summer. A work by Jean-Luc Vilmouth, ''Like Two Towers'', has made the factory's towers an iconic feature of the town. It commands a fine view of the town and its surroundings.
