This museum in the old Episcopal palace presents archaeological and lapidary relics on the ground floor. On the upper floor, take in the Flemish tapestries and 16C Portuguese School paintings and the embroidered bedspreads for which Castelo Branco has been reputed since the 17C. Two rooms are dedicated to silk farming and linen-making techniques.
