This is a charming part of town, with narrow cobbled streets, where the townsfolk hang washing. It has a few interesting buildings, including the old town hall, built in the 17C and later altered, and Solar dos Cavaleiros (18C), which houses a museum dedicated to Manuel Cargaleiro.
