This set of ramparts and turrets (finished in the early 20C) calls to mind a fairy-tale castle. The seven turrets symbolise the seven Magyar tribes and each tribal leader is depicted by a statue. The ramparts are a highlight of the visit, offering the visitor beautiful views over the Danube and Pest. Beneath the arcades, take a seat at a café and enjoy the spectacular panorama to the full.
