The Buna River flows beneath the cliff at the foot of which the Dervish Monastery stands. A tributary of the Neretva, over its 9km-long course, the river has its source in this idyllic setting, under the karst rock, where the green vegetation, the village's architecture and the turquoise water blend harmoniously. This particularly photogenic spot is called Vrelo Bune.
