Notice at no. 4 Rue des Terrasses, if you happen to find the door open, the hallway decorated with frescoes. This house, called the Maison Castagnola, along with the one opposite (at no. 5) with its sculpted façade, belonged to two rival families, and are supposedly the oldest houses in Bastia.
