The simplicity of the discreet corbel arches of the windows with their slate blue roofs together with the various carriage entrances gives visitors an idea of life in one of these aristocratic residences: you almost expect to see a horse-drawn carriage in this centre square of the Lower Town, which was built on marshland in 1756.
