A tourist cliché for some, a delightful experience for others, a boat trip along Amsterdam's canals offers a different perspective on the city. The water-level view of the series of seven bridges on Reguliersgracht, for example, is enough to make the trip worthwhile. All the different boat companies, most of which are situated near the main station, offer more or less the same route.
