This is THE postcard of São Miguel! The road ends at this viewpoint overlooking the southern part of the Sete Cidades crater. From here, you can see at a glance a caldera 12 km in circumference, at the bottom of which are two identical lakes, one green and the other blue, and the village bearing the name Sete Cidades. To the left, partly occupied by a volcanic cone, is a very green landscape, with cows grazing at the foot of conifers, reminiscent of Switzerland.
