Leaving Bandung to the east, the road winds through green countryside, revealing some of Java's most beautiful landscapes. Between volcanoes, forests and rice fields, rare images of a peaceful Java that is still a little wild, the last steps of the Sunda country conceal an infinite number of attractions: Hindu temples emerging from the crops, bamboo villages shaded by coconut palms, hiking trails... At the end of the tour, Pangandaran occupies an idyllic site that was not spared by the 2006 tsunami. The seaside resort has since healed its wounds.
