The Oakland Hotel is a family-run budget hotel situated in the Centre of the riverside town of South Woodham Ferrers, 15 miles from Southend-on-Sea. Close to the River Crouch, all rooms have private bathrooms. Rooms feature a TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and have free WiFi access. Oakland Bar is open daily and also shows live sporting events. On Friday Saturday nights the bar has live music until midnight. Quieter rooms can be provided on request but are subject to availability. Being a town centre hotel, we only have a few parking spaces at the rear of the hotel. However, there is a large carpark opposite the hotel in front of South Woodham police station. The hotel is 15 minutes from South Woodham Ferrers Rail Station, while South Woodham Swimming Pool and the Club Woodham Fitness are only a minutes' walk away. The hotel is within easy reach of A127, A12 and M25. The Hotel has easy access to the Olympic Stadium, with trains from South Woodham Ferrers to Stratford taking 45 minutes.
