The hotel is only a 3-minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station and 30 minutes by taxi from Heathrow Airport. All of the air-conditioned rooms have satellite TV, a comfortable bed and an individual private bathroom. A Full English and Continental buffet breakfast is served every day in the Orchid Room. The Checkmate Bar is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. WiFi is available throughout the building. The property is historic, dating back to the 19th century, and we are making necessary upgrades to the building to ensure that its legacy remains. Work is taking place daily from 1st June 2025 until February 2026 and there may be minor disruption to your stay; we will endeavour to keep this to a minimum.
