Som Tam comes to the beach at this cosy Ari restaurant, where north-eastern style dishes are topped with the freshest seafood. Opened in 2014 by a family from Hua Hin, the place’s owners delight in offering guests the same food they serve family and friends. The result is fare that balances Isan flavours with seafood from Hua-Hin and Petchaburi, and beef from a notable farm. Fried squid with lay lao sauce is a standout, as is Luang Phra Bang green papaya salad.
