You only have to venture across the threshold of September to appreciate the easy-going atmosphere. A stripped-back, minimalist vibe depicts the spacious interior, dotted with plants. It’s as if nature has merged with inner city Antwerp. Every detail of this establishment has been puzzled over and preened from the respect of the produce and attention to the seasons down to the ‘farm to fork’ concept. Veggies are the stars of the show, sometimes served with meat or fish. Ann Van der Auwera’s inventive and expressive cuisine is rich in character and occasionally sprinkled with the odd Italian accent. Rich in summertime flavours all year round.
