Not likely to be a restaurant to stumble upon and very much geared to the local population this is worth visit for its excellent family feel and typical Spanish fare. For those travelling from Alicante toward Valencia on the new A7 auto route this makes an excellent stop only being some 400 yards from the motorway at Alcoi. From the motorway junction roundabout take the CV790. You will pass a prominent building on your right. Immediately after start looking for an entrance on the right which turns back sharply. Ample covered parking and some 200 covers. And to the food. Excellent Spanish fare with plenty of interesting starters and fresh daily fish and seafood. No English spoken so menu work requires plenty of phrasebook use and gestures. Good fun and worth it. They specialise in rice dishes, mostly with seafood. My black rice with prawns and squid would fill anyone up, especially after a fresh tuna salad. The Mojito sorbet is a perfect end to the meal.
