El Hospes Amerigo ofrece unas vistas hermosas a la catedral de Alicante y al castillo de Santa Bárbara. Cuenta con un spa gratuito en la azotea que incluye una sauna, una piscina y un gimnasio. Las habitaciones disponen de conexión Wi-Fi gratuita y de TV de pantalla plana con canales vía satélite. Este hotel de diseño es elegante y está situado en un convento dominico del siglo XIX, en el casco antiguo de Alicante, a 300 metros de la playa de Postiguet. El Hospes Amerigo está a 50 metros de la catedral y del ayuntamiento de Alicante. Las habitaciones del Hospes Amerigo son elegantes y cuentan con techos altos y ventanas grandes. Todas incluyen un reproductor de DVD y algunas tienen pinturas abstractas en seda. El restaurante Monastrell del Amerigo ofrece cocina gourmet y el bar del vestíbulo sirve tapas y comidas ligeras. En verano, los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de las vistas desde el bar salón de la azotea, situado junto a la piscina al aire libre.

The hotel exudes the atmosphere of some distinction, but without the condescension that comes often with it. Neat desk, carpetsin the hallways, this understated luxury ambiance we thought surely is the most characteristic of this hotel. The room we had at the front was not small, but it looked that much because all the furniture in it. What was really small however, was the entry of the bath. The lounges furnished with nice modern furniture were a great place to read or have a drink. And also the two swimming pools with terraces on the roof are nice ( especially in summertime). All in all, we stayed in this hotel with a sense of luxury.
The facility we were not satisfied with, was the meager equipped gym.
