This extraordinary architectural site is in the Region of Andalusia, in southern Spain, and is currently in the news because it could become one of the new seven wonders of the world. This is due to the initiative of a private foundation, which aims to elect the seven wonders of the modern world by a public vote, given that, of the seven ancient wonders, only one can still be seen to this day. On 7 July we will know which monuments of the 21 finalists have been chosen. One of these finalists is, of course, The Alhambra, one of the most beautiful Moorish constructions ever built.
